| My landscape designer has proposed the following:
12 Lamium 'Orchid Frost" 1qt 3 Geranium 'Brookside' 1 gal 3 Polemonium 'Stairway to Heaven' 1 gal for the natural area under heavy shade provided by several ash, cherry and a redbud tree. This area is quite dry because of the tree canopy. The area is next to a large stone patio project that was completed last summer. I have a lot of hostas in other parts of this area. Do you think this is a good combo? Will it thrive in my conditions? |

| Anything with Lamium & Geranium has me hooked. I like the Jacob's ladder too. I only have damp shade so I'm not sure about their tolerance for dry..... |

| Not sure why you want to question the recommendation of your landscape designer.......isn't that why you hired him/her? The combo should look very nice and is quite tolerant of drier conditions, once established. |
