X-post Please help identify this plant Blue flowers- I think

I X-posted this on the Woodlands forum, but have rec'd no replies- someone's gotta have this plant!

I bought this plant from a private seller at a festival around Mother's Day at least a couple of years ago. Lost the tag, and cannot find any info searching the internet. I seem to think it started with a 'S'... I have it growing in partial shade/sort of woodland conditions along with Hostas, Hellebores, Trillium, Arisaema, etc.

We've had a late spring, so it's not blooming yet, it was blooming when I bought it. I think it sort of had a fringe effect to the blossoms, I know it caught my eye as unique...

If no one recognizes it in bud, will take a pic later when it starts to flower.

Mystery plant two days later

kathy,

Thanks for the guess- it sort of does look like Camassia, but I think I've figured out (with the help of a fellow GW'er) that it is Phyteuma spicatum.

Here is a photo off the web of the Phyteuma

And, here is a photo I took of a stand of wild Camassia!
