I have three PJMs that I planted last year and are about 2 feet tall now. They are in part sun and here in Maine we had our last snow fall April 1st. It took a few weeks for the snow to melt. Only one of the PJMs bloomed with only a few flowers on the bottom around mid May. What is going on here. I thought these plants were very hardy and bloomed in sun or shade. Could it be they need more time to get rooted? They appear to have healthy foliage.
