tapestry of groundcovers in shade, with shrubs, who wins?

Hi! I'm working on a bed 2.5' by 29' long. Long and Narrow. Space is nearly full shade with only reflected light. Plan to put in camellia and hydrangea and perhaps some yews and then perennials.. and then some ground covers. But due to the length of this space, I'd like to use several ground overs over the course of the length of the space separated between shrubs; groundcovers to include:

black mondo

lamium (herman's pride"

epimedium (clumbing or spreading form, undecided)

possibly some carex

acornus

My question is i'm just wondering how all these plants will behave or if they, or one or more of them, will EAT the other groundcovers up!?!? anyone know? thanks!
