Need advise for shade plants that Chipmunks don't like

I have a raised bed in full shade on my deck and it seems that every plant I put in gets destroyed by my chipmunk's constant tunneling. Any plants that they won'd bother with? The bed looks funny right now because there is nothing in it.

Thanks

My on-going experience is -- Good Luck. They'll tunnel anywhere and everywhere. Newly planted and young plants are the most susceptible. Try putting chickwire around new plants and a layer of chicken wire on the surface with just a bit of mulch on top. I think we're having a banner year for chipmunks now. I've never seen so many.

Sprinkling bloodmeal on the surface of the soil might deter them. It certainly stops squirrels from digging.

Good luck!
