Trailing perennial for shade?

Hi there, I have a walkway lined with birches-- on one side of the walkway is a retaining stone wall about 3 feet high, beyond which is a yew hedge. Between the wall and the hedge is a little slope that I'd like to plant with something that will tolerate the shade from the birches and the yews (it's dappled shade) and trail nicely over the stone wall. Something evergreen would be nice, but not necessary, and it can't protrude much because it would block the walkway (else I would use an arching shrub). I was thinking about vinca alba but would love to hear other suggestions (I would love to plant trailing rosemary but I think it would need more sun.)

Let me know what you think! Thanks,

Hobbes
