Can anyone tell me what this shade loving plant is?

A very close family member gave me a cutting to this plant and it has finally rooted and I am not sure what it is? The picture I attached is a picture of the mother plant in her backyard.

Thank you!

It's a begonia but I don't know the name of it. My friend has them planted all around her landscaping and they are lovely. It's an annual. I guess if it never freezes it will keep living, not sure about that since I've only lived where it freezes.

Thank you arkansas girl. I know the mother plant has been in her yard for 4+ years..

Begonias are tender perennials, even those used as annuals. That's one of the jillion rhizomatous begonias, so pretty.

Thank you for your response. Yes I have been babying a cutting for about a month now and it has finally rooted and now starting to push leaves all over. I then realized I didn't even know what it was. So I asked her to send me a picture of the mother plant and the pic above is what I received.

Sorry, I'm on dialup so I can't see the picture, but I did want to add that Begonia grandis is fully hardy through zone 6 and is a great plant for dry shade. Slightly less hardy is the cultivar 'Heron's Pirouette, which I lost last winter in the coldest winter we've had in 30 years. Both plants will eventually make a large mass, but are very easy to control.

Looks like an Angel's Wing Begonia to me.
