Seeds I can plant along a stone wall

I have a stone wall that runs the length of my property. The wall itself is full of weeds, small "bushes" and poison ivy. There are also some self seeding nasturtiums that are in there because this is where I disgarded them when they were done in my garden last year. I want to plant something along the lenght of this wall, atleast 200') I'm not actually going to go into that mess, I'm going to plant more where the weeds leave off and my grass actually starts. I was really looking for just one very colorful plant that I could easily grow from seed. I wanted to do something like oriental poppies, but the area doesn't get much sun and I don't think they bloom very long. So, what I'm looking for is an easy to grow (from seed), long bloomer that likes shade. Any sugestions? Interesting foliage (for after the bloom time) would also be a plus! I guess this is a very tall order! While I would much prefer perinneals I wouldn't rule out annuals if they are easy.
