evergreen for shade container

| I have a container beside the garage that I would like to plant something in that would grow tall and stay green all year. It's pretty much mostly shade there. It's beside a brick wall so I was also thinking of something that could grow up a trellis in a container. Is this an impossible thing to do? Thanks! |

| How big is the container? How tall is tall? One possibility is Ilex crenata 'Skyrocket' |
