Propagating Brunfelsia? Any hints?

Hi folks,
I have a couple of brunfelsia that are just going gangbusters and I love their array of purples. Can I propagate these plants (both are verrrry mature, probably 10 years old and very very large) in any reasonable way (like taking cuttings or root things or whatever. Or do I need to go try to buy new ones from a nursery and hope they're as happy as the old timers in my yard? Any hints? Thanks!

I have successfully used softwood cuttings aided with rooting hormone but it was during early spring. Your climate zone may allow you to
accomplish it at any time of the year thou.
