Hello

I am about to built a house which would have a south facing front yard. As per the local regulations, I am required to keep a 7ft passage behind the house which would be the north side of the house. I was just wondering if you all can share some ideas as to the best utilization of this space. It would be approx. 7ft x 50 ft i.e. 350 sq ft. space.

It may not necessarily be related to plants or gardening eventhough I am posting in the Garden forum.

We may even move the house a bit ahead and keep upto 10 ft passage if there is any idea requiring that.

Just to let you know before hand, right behind my house there would be the back side of another house which would be 14 ft away from my house since we both have to keep 7ft space from our respective boundaries.

I would highly appreciate any inputs / suggestions in this regard.
