Loving each and every plant

I find that with a small space to work in, I tend to be accutely aware of each individual plant. Just a couple of days ago, I was rooting around in the soil to find out if my Stargazer was still alive. Its twin, only a few inches away was at least 6" tall, but it hadn't put in an appearance at all. Well, I discovered that it had decided to grow at an angle (lilies are weird for that), so it had to go further to break ground. My point being, if I had a large yard with lots of plants, I'd probably barely notice. As it is, I usually know what everything is doing, how it's doing, when it's doing...

Would anybody like to hear the life story of each and every one of my plants? ;o)
