Planting tree in fiberglass pots!

Posted by palmfronds none (My Page) on

Hi,

I need advice on using fiberglass pots for tree planting. I grow palm trees ~15ft in the current terracota containers which have given away in 4 yrs. Wondering whether should i plant directly in the firberglass container or do a root wrap in burlap and then keep the tree in pots. That way hopefully taking out the trees for root trim will be possible. Has anyone done anything of this sort?

Plz advice
Thanks

Since fiberglass is very light, its easy to carry and move it from one place to another. Create a hole in the bottom of the container and add soil into it. Place your plant in that container and water it.
