I, by no means am a botanist or well studied in pedology. But i think you'll be fine.
Almost all fertilizers used for plants mainly consist of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium. Despite what kind of plant it is for.
I would caution, if you are using potting soil for a garden bed, you may want to amend it with compost or rich soil. As potting soil might not have some of properties you desire.
But that's all relative.

The main thing I worry myself with is with lead. This is why I prefer a raised bed with compost, peat moss, and sand.
