Hi all! Newbie here, so I apologize for any posting mistakes in advance. It's fall here in Iowa, and I miss my pumpkins! Last year I had quite a few, thanks to the grandparents planting some in their garden. This year, none were planted. I'm looking ahead to next year, since I've moved from an apartment to a townhome and have a little bit of flowerbed/gardenbed space. Problem is, it isn't near enough for a pumpkin vine. However, I do have several nice vertical porch walls that I could attach some trellis to. So I'm wondering if pumpkin vines can be trained up a trellis? I'm not looking for anything enormous, but a couple of nice pie pumpkins would be very nice. Thanks in advance for any and all help!
