| This winter, I moved into an apartment with a lovely, sunny deck which would be perfect for growing, so I ordered a few seed catalogs. A month later, my dad stopped over and started reminiscing about gardens - and vegetables - past. So I started locating all of his old favorites, but one has, so far, eluded me. He mentioned a watermelon by the name of 'Prairie Gold' or 'Desert Gold' with exceptionally large fruits. I found out there really was a 'Desert Gold' variety, but I haven't found anyone selling it. I was wondering if anyone here knew where I could find these seeds? Thanks! |
