The most beautiful catalog cover in the world

I just received the Singing Springs catalog and am in awe at the cover pic. Now I know what Eden looks like.

The plants listed inside are nifty, lots of great foliage and tropical stuff. And each one is described with a whole paragrah, only half of which is gushingly promotional(which means the other half is pragmatically informational. Informational catalogs are cool.) Unfortunetly, the shipping rates are too high for me to justify blowing my entire garden budget. But oh, it is soooo tempting.

Its a perfect winter-antidote.
You can order one for yourself from the link below ... and no, Im not the owner's mother, best friend, PR person or dog(thou if said owner would like to send me some of those amazing new coleus free out of pure gratitude ...

Springcherry let me tell you Singing Springs is absolutely one of my all time favorite nurseries! Unlike other nurseries that send you small starts of plants, the owner here sends LARGE plants. I have ordered from here three years in a row and plan to order again this spring. The first year I ordered all coleuses which I collect, I've never seen such big plants shipped, in a huge box, opening it was like Christmas morning for me! Everything she sends is healthy and well worth the shipping. If you want something unusual or tropical this is the place to go. Singing Springs doesn.t carry everything, but what's here is usually special.
Springcherry in your area looks like you could order 4 plants for the $9 shipping charge, that's what I'm planning on doing this year. Last year she charged $8 but I guess prices increased for shipping. I can attest that this is one nursery that doesn't profit on shipping based on the size plants sent. Also since this is a small nursery I plan to order early since some items may not be avilable later on.

Did I misread the shipping charges? It looked to me like a base 20 bucks whatever you ordered, and then 4 bucks per plant on top of that.

I'll have to go back and double-check. I do hope I was wrong.

Actually we're both wrong, LOL! Shipping charge for Pa is minimum $9 or $1.50 a plant, so I can order 6 plants for nine bucks shipping.

Oh my, what a website. I found something I wanted on the very first page. However...your mistake about shipping charges was no mistake. For California, anyway. Ouch. I think I will use their website as a lovely and informative reference and try to find the plants somewhere out here.

Singing Spring is out of business...they now only sell to wholesalers. See their website.
