baron solemacher strawberries

Hi- I am trying to find some seeds. Does anyone know a good source? I searched on google but nothing comes up.

You might try contacting this site. It looks as though they have this in their stock. I'd be curious to know the outcome. They have e-mail.

A Fragaria vesca cultivar. Also known as 'Baron von Solemacher'. Much more easily located 'Alexandria' ('Baron Solemacher Improved') is similar, might be an acceptable - or better - substitute unless you are assembling a collection.

Bountiful Gardens, Willits, CA was still offering 'Baron Solemacher' ca. 1998. Don't know current supply.
