buying houseplants online?

| Is it worth buying house plants online or should I goto a local nursery ?

| A lot of us don't really have that choice. Sometimes in my area a local nursery will have a few things, but not often anything very unusual, if you care about that. I buy most my plants online, or trade with friends. |

I don't even bother looking for them as it seems that the garden centers or grocery stores are stocking more
and more nice varieties of plants. I am often surprised at what I unusually find locally especially when I am
just there and not looking for anything special. I frequently buy seeds on line as it appears to offer more
choices for me.
