Wanted: Sources for different kinds of rice seed, especially Jas

I am looking for several different sources of rice seed. I especially am looking for wild rice suitable for zone 8, Jasmine, Basmati, Red Shan, Early Rose, Purple Tomb Toman (has a dark purple, almost black, grain, supposedly from a tomb in Japan, but I'll settle for just the Japanese dark purple grain rice), Sweet rice, and any others. Also, I am still looking for sources for Park Whopper peanut seed, as well as Red Lightning tomato seed. I can get the plants, but they will have to be shipped from PA, and I think the seed would be better. Thank you in advance for any help you can give, and for your time.

Have you checked with your states Extension service or Master gardeners? These are USDA sponsored programs meant to assist everyone from home gardener to large farms.

Thank you for suggesting my state extension service or Master gardeners for the rice seed. I had not thought to do that. I found two packets of Red Lightning tomato seeds at Wal-Mart, and it said on the packet, Wal-Mart exclusive select seed, so I suppose that is who bought the rest of the Burpee red lightning tomato seed, and it is the reason that they had only that variety in tomato plants at Burpee. At any rate, it was about two dollars cheaper than the seed offered at Burpee, but I do not know whether it is a smaller amount of seed in the package.
