I recently bought some water hyacinths from them. They arrived broken, yellow, brown and slimey. Out of the 10 I ordered only two were in ok condition. I emailed them three times trying to get some resolution. They never emailed me back. I even contacted paypal and they won't do anything either since the amount was so small. In my opinion, that might be a company to avoid. I know I would never buy from them again. Angie

I would e-mail them the link to this post so that they are aware of the bad publicity for a lack of response to your complaint! The web is a powerful tool when expressing an opinion!

I didn't email them a link but in my last email I told them I was going to mention their poor quality of plants and then getting no response on some gardening forums. Received no response to that either. Maybe they just don't care.
I did find some nice aquatic plants on ebay, much better quality. Angie

Hello Angie1010,

Marvin here from PondFactory.com. I am sorry to hear about the plants, and I wish to correct the situation.

As per the e-mail I sent you I would either re-ship your order or refund your payment, your choice. However, I did not recieve any confirmation as to what you wanted to do. The e-mail's I sent were on 5/27/05 and again on 5/31/05.

I simply ask(ed) that you provide a digital picture of the plants for verification. A company simply cannot re-ship every order the customer says is defective, they would go out of business. All I am looking for is a little verification, I don't think that is too much to ask.

Thank you

Marvin

LOL.
I say that because whenever I've complained about an establishment here on GW (only 2 times), both companies contacted me. They do take their GardenWeb complaints seriously.

Always check the Garden Watchdog list as well.

Here is a link that might be useful: Garden Watchdog list
