Elephant ear plants

Hi everyone! I'm new here so I wasn't really sure where to post this. Here is my problem: I have what I am told is an elephant ear plant growing in the middle of my flower bed. Well that's all good and fine, except the bulb of it is underneath the foundation of my house and I can't get to it to dig it up. This thing has been cut down 3 times in the last 8 months and it is HUGE again! I have cut it, sprayed root killer on the leaves and into the ground I have dug up and exposed all the roots I could get to, and still it returns. Is there anything else I can do to kill this thing?

How deep is your foundation ( soil line to bottom of foundation)?

But they are so beutiful why would you want kill it?? LOL

If I wanted to kill any plant I would first cut all leaves, second spray the remaining root with root killer and last put a heavy black weed cloth over it for about 3 months
If that doesn't kill it. I would learn to love or move LOL
just kiding on the move thing.
Really I've kill several things that way
My two cents, carmen
