Searching for Star Magnolia

Can anyone tell me who in CT, MA, or RI sells large size Star Magnolia or any of the later blooms types like Merril? I think that is what it's called. I've found the stars in a few nurseries but the plants are small and I'm looking for something larger.

I would check with the nurseries next spring for star magnolias in larger sizes. This late in the season the nurseries have probably sold-out of the larger size pots and B&B size magnolias.

Spring is the best time for magolias at the local garden center.

However, you are not looking fo a star magnolia, but a Loebner Magnolia. 'Merrill' is a variety of Magnolia x loebneri.

Guys, Thanks for your help. I waited till spring and found them at a great nursery near me. They didn't have the size last year because it was too late in the season when I looked. These were a great price. Thanks again.
