What tree is this? ID needed!

It is 8 feet tall & the canopy has just begun forming; when mature profuse deep blue-purple flowers cover the tree.

Leaves are oblonceolate, which see in below link along with trunk and canopy.

Closest I can ID it is: Hamelia cuprea, but the flower colors of that do not match.

It is NOT Jacobina, otherwise known as a Justicia, because Jacobina only grows 24-36 INCHES TALL.
It is NOT Royal Empress, because Empress leaves are too wide.
It is NOT Jacaranda, because leaves are totally different.
It is NOT Ardisia venosa or A. humilis

Thanks!
