| It is 8 feet tall & the canopy has just begun forming; when mature profuse deep blue-purple flowers cover the tree. Leaves are oblonceolate, which see in below link along with trunk and canopy. Closest I can ID it is: Hamelia cuprea, but the flower colors of that do not match. https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A3GWZuqDKsjA0 It is NOT Jacobina, otherwise known as a Justicia, because Jacobina only grows 24-36 INCHES TALL.
