Can someone please help me I am desperately trying to find a mail order nursery that sells Japanese Blood Grass. So far I have had no luck. Thank you in advance.

Is it hardy in your area?

I saw some on Ebay but it was expensive.
If you Google for " Japanese Blood Grass Mail Order" you'll find some sites and will need to sort through.

You are having a hard time finding it because it is on the invasive list, even though it is not hardy many places. Contact me if you need sources.

Does 'Rubra' flower (or revert) much, or is it being curtailed by mistake, because the typical (species) has become a pest in some states? In my climate (perhaps to cool for flowering) it seems like I see mostly the leaves, with the main nuisance factor being that it creeps by underground stems, possibly occupying a larger space - in the garden - than was intended.
