I have a arboricola green hedge 4ft tall all around my pool screen I wanted to transplant it in the same location around 10ft away and grow it taller and use as a privacy hedge but I was told by several nursery's that I would be wasting my money and that I should plant new small ones because the chances are they won't survive I love them and the way they look they seeem easy to take care of and I don't want them to die There was one nursery that told me no problem I could transplant them. I don't have any knowledge about this any advice would be greatly appreciated in naples florida

RE: arboricola green hedge

Is this Schefflera arboricola? It's not a plant that most of us have experience with using as an outside plant. Perhaps post your question on the Florida page or even the Tropicals forum.

Good luck.
