Deer and running plants

I have two metal deer that we used when we decorated our yard for christmas. I want to plant some type of perrinal that will run so i can trim the plant to the shape of the deer. I am located 45 miles north of Tallahasse,Fl, about as South Georgia as you can get.

Any suggestions for a fast growing flower, vine, etc.

Consider Carolina jessamine, Gelsemium sempervirens.
