Star Jasmine in Shade?

Hi all,

I have a quick question about the Star Jasmine vine. I would like to include it outside in my little garden. The problem is that the very place in which I'd like to include it, my neighbor has wooden fence there where sunlight does not penetrate. The sun is shining from the neighbor's side of the fence, meaning my side, where I want to put the jasmine, does not receive sunlight.

Does that mean that it's not possible to include the Star Jasmine there? I've heard they can be grown and flower in shade, but I've also seen conflicting information.

Can someone please let me know if it's a possibility and if not, is there another option, preferably one with those nice dark green leaves (so pretty) and the white flowers? (I don't much like the yellow. :(
