Hey lovemaidenhair (does that mean you like maidenhair ferns?), if you are looking for suggestions on what to plant it would help to know some of the following:

- how much sun/shade does the area get (i.e., how many hours, is it full shade or dappled shade)
- is it naturally moist or dry in that area
- what characteristics are you looking for (evergreen, flowering, fragrant, pretty foliage, berries for wildlife)
- what are the height requirements for the plants you want to add (e.g., it's next to the foundation and you don't want it to get more than X feet tall).

Do you have any pictures of the area that you want to share to give us more of an idea?
