I live in northern Louisiana and we planted a small garden. Trying to plan our vacation but I don't want to leave while the garden is still producing. We will be gone for 9 days. So how long do y'all think my garden will be producing? I have tomatoes,squash, peppers and okra. Thanks for your help!!

Do you have someone who can water it while you're gone? The plants you have can keep producing until it's too cold for them to bear any more. I've had tomatoes and peppers until well into winter. Squash and okra will probably stop before then because of the cold. Tomatoes and peppers will stay on the plants and won't ripen until it gets warm enough, or until a hard freeze kills the plants.
