| In March I planted 3 Blackeye Susan bulbs in a big pot according to directions on package and keep them watered but nothing has come up yet. When can I expect them to break ground?
Thanks for your help and have a nice day. |

| the plant that most of us call black-eyed susan (rudbeckia) does not grow from a bulb like tulips, etc. they grow from a root mass. are you sure of the name? if you are not seeing anything by now, they are probably not going to show up. |
Here is a link that might be useful: rudbeckia

| Bought them at Home Depot. Says Rudbeckia black-eyed Susan on package. 3 bulbs in the pack for $6.98. Says Blooms THIRD on the package; I don't know what that means. full sun height 24-30"; Blooms late summer/early fall but I don't see anything at all coming thru the soil. I was just wondering if I should be feeding the bulbs now. I have them in a big pot in full sun and water occasionally as I would my other bulbs. Thanks |
