Do you mean Hibiscus Mutabilis? If so, it's too late in the year to get good cuttings. Wait until about August to search. You want the hardened cuttings after the leaves have dropped, but before it gets cold. In your zone, 6/7, it will probably winter kill down to the ground every year. Are you sure that's what you want for a hedge row?

Yes this is what I am looking for. I had a nice row of them at a previous residence and they were spectacular, but unfortunately, the new owner ripped them out with his tractor and they are no longer there.

I will try again in late summer.. I am quite happy to receive cuttings to root and then plant in early spring...
