Looking for Heirloom French-Roman Hyacinths

Posted by Georgiarose z7 (My Page) on

Does anyone grow or know of a source for these bulbs? I am posting on behalf of a friend that said her grandmother grew them in her garden and had 3 colors, blue, white & pink. Have located a source for purple flowered ones, but they have no knowledge of the existance of any other colors.
TIA for your help!

Take a look at www.oldhousegardens.com
They have lots of heirloom bulbs there. Just click on the catagory 'Rarest Etc.'

I would say try Old House Gardens. They have wonderful heirloom bulbs and plants. Anything I have gotten from them has been top quality and true to its name.
