Full StoryToday, I bought 16 LELAND CYPRESS in one gallon pots. After I got home and took a closer look at the tags on the pots, it says "SUN SHRUB / ARBUSTO DE SOL" on it, with LELAND CYPRESS. It also has a picture of what looks sorta like juniper spreading on the ground. First of all, I thought leyland (with a Y) cypress was the correct spelling for the tall, conical leyland cypress that I wanted, which will grow tall and fast to provide privacy and windbreak in my backyard. Also, is there a different kind of leland cypress that spread out on the ground like junipers? Is there a difference between LELAND and LEYLAND cypress? The word SHRUB and the picture on the tag concerns me that I got the wrong kind? I want the ones that will grow tall and thick and fast. Thanks.
