I need help. I must be going to the wrong forum. Not many on LA/MS Zinnia have something eating them and turning the leaves brown.

Does not seem to be many using the forums. I am still having problems with my zinnias, in fact, another week and they will all be dead. Really would appreciate help. Thanks,

Maybe no one has any idea. I have never heard of this. I do know zinnias are susceptible to mildew. But that is all that I have heard as far as pests.

Maybe someone on the "Annuals" forum would be able to help you. Good luck.

Do you have cutworms? I hate those things. Go out at night and ck them..other than that I do not have a clue. Is it not frustrating to not find out what is causing your problem or what? Good luck !!

Are the spiderwebs on the undersides of the leaves? If so take a magnifying glass and look carefully at the undersides of the leaves. If you see tiny tiny red or white specks then it might be spider mites. They are very hard to see and will suck the leaves of your plants and eventually could kill them. If you have them try a systemic like ortho systemic or any other pesticide that says it will kill spider mites. Hope this helps
