Perhaps you've purchased a basket of a Portulaca oleracea hybrid, a direct descendant of your common purslane. They come in a variety of brilliant colors, as well as some pretty pastels. This ornamental purslane is wonderful for full sun locations, and don't appreciate being kept drenched.

I don't think that the flowers of this plant look anything like the millions bells, though. Let us know what you have.

I adore the flowering purslane but wish they didn't close up shop when the sun begins to go down. One plant can make many since they are so easy to root in plain water or very wet soil.
Million bells have similar sized leaves but the stalks are hairy typical of petunia types rather than round which is typical of succulents like purslane.

I think also that million bells are bell shaped rather than having distinct petals like purslane/portulaca.

rhizo, that is exatly what they look like. All are one color. Most times the pots have the name of the plant inserted but this one didn't.

Anyway, I'm going to keep it and hope that it doesn't start many, mnay plants outside of the pot. I still have the fear of the problem with the wild yellow one. It is on the east side of the house so should get quite a bit of sun. I did notice that the flowers seem to close later in the day, similar to Portulaca. Certainly this pot is very full with compacted plants.

I'll see what happens.
