The maple trees in our back yard make these "wings" that fall down in the spring. THEY GET BETWEEN THE DECK FLOORS, AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE. WE JUST BUILT OUR HOME AND TREES NEED THINNING OUT. DO I Do NEED TO CUT ALL MAPLES? QUESTION IS DO both male and female produce these?

RE: maple tree

Most maples have male and female flowers on the same tree. In other words, they will all produce seeds unless they are a special cultivar.

You will need to decide how annoying you find the seed litter as opposed to the shade these trees provide. Perhaps you can have the trees closest to your home removed and allow the others to thrive.
