Good Morning,

Has anyone been able to successfully grow Broccoli Raab Rapini in the ground here in Atlanta or Northern Georgia? By 'successfully', I mean grow a prolific amount of healthful food!

Thanks & Please Advise,
Stellabee

RE: Broccoli Raab Question

It will grow in the fall and winter. Start when nights drop to 50's. It is most closely related to turnip. Light frost improves flavor. I am in Southern Piedmont of NC, we are cooler, but ,can grow much during fall and winter, Kale, spinach, radishes, carrots, beets, turnips, coriander and mustard will grow all winter. Wait until they thaw out after hard frost to work around or pick. Radish greens season will soon be here.
