Pruning Oleander Seed Pods

Posted by perryrip atlGA (My Page) on

Folks,
Was wondering if I'm doing more harm than good when snipping off the seed pods on my Oleanders. My plants are literally covered with the seed pods and weighing the branches down. Plus they seem to stop blooming while in the seed pod stage. I decided to snip the seed pods off and was wondering what the effect may be??

Removal of the seeds will do no harm to the plant.
