Help me ID this weed

Patches of this darker green short "curly" weed all through my yard (zoysia). A casual stroll through the neighborhood indicates it appears in shady yards mostly. I asked at the local Big Box Hardware store if they had any idea but they had no clue. I don't have a camera to take a photo but maybe someone has an idea and I can look it up. Thanks.

You might want to go into the Lawn care forum and ask there or they may have a topic that gives photos of lawn weeds you can search through.. Green,short"curly" isn't enough description to go on.
