Fountain Grass

With all the rain here in Florida, one area of my yard where I have fountain grass growing has been very soggy for about a month. All of the green fountain grass appears to be dead. The purple fg is ok. Do you think the green will come back when the area dries out?

RE: Fountain Grass

Anything is possible, but it's not likely. Plants can drown, just like people, though it takes longer, of course. :) If you can see any green at all in the crown, you can try lifting and potting the plant up, and you MIGHT be able to save the plant.
