Jasmine sambac buds become brown/purple and wither

| Hello - I have several jasmine sambacs. They were all blooming very well earlier this summer. But lately all the buds are discolouring - the buds are really small and are brown or purple coloured and wither away. I'm not sure what is causing this - could this be because of over watering. Raleigh summers tend to get hot, so I've been watering them often, but I know the roots are not waterlogged. I don't see any evidence of insects (aphids, mites. etc.) either. Help!! |
