Any ideas for this small bed? Pretty much full sun, behind the stump is a young chaste tree and daylillies ( pale yellow) in front. Thanks for all suggestions!

That has the potential to be a shade garden in a very few years, considering the growth rate of the Vitex.

What is the diameter of the bed? What's the soil like....sandy, clayey, etc.? Is it located in a public part of the yard or the private back yard?

What is your vision.....annuals, perennials, woody shrubs? Don't forget that the Vitex will provide quite a bit of shade in a surprisingly short time. It's a good choice to be the center of attention in a small bed like that.

Not sure of diameter but soil is clayish (is that a word? Lol). It is in private back yard. I really like perennials. Not a fan of tulips.Someone gave me the daylillies but they can be moved. This pic was taken in June, the chaste tree has doubled in size! Thanks for a reply, open to all suggestions!
