it'a a little early to take the cuttings here on the coast. Mine are still forming buds. Perhaps in another three or four weeks someone will have some. I have had good success with cuttings taken after the leaves fall off.

If or when you cut back your Confederate Rose, I would love to get a cutting from it?

I don't normally cut mine back. However I am sure there would be someone in your area that wouldn't mind you clipping off a few. Most gardeners love to share. They root very easily so don't worry about getting many.

I got mine several years ago. A gardener sent me 12 that were about 12-15 inches long. I stuck all 12 under shady faucet where they stayed damp. All of them rooted, but I really didn't want 12 of them. They were quite dried out when I got them. I don't know if that's why they rooted so easily or if I was just lucky.
