| my wife and i garden in the rio grande valley (deep south texas ) i find very little information about growing vegetables (in winter) for this area . anyway ,perhaps there's someone looking at this site , that would like to exchange experiences .
our main garden (70 x 60) has been in 5 weeks now , planted when the temperatures were still over 100 . |

| There are plenty of southerners on the forums who winter garden vegetables, but you'll find most of them on the Vegetable Gardening Forum. Check it out. It's fascinating and informative. I believe the Texas Forum is pretty active too. |
