Red and purple Crepe Myrtle

I'm looking for the names of the darkest red and the darkest purple Crepe Myrtle. Not that bright watermelon pink that pretends to be red, and not a pale fussy lavender. Either standard or dwarf is fine. I've looked up several online that looked about right, but when I track them down in real life the colors were a disappointment. I know there is a striking crimson (One of the local banks as four of them, but no one knows what they're called) and I've seen a purple so dark it almost looked dusky black; I had to stop the car and walk to the fence to make sure it was a Crepe. (And no, the homeowner had no idea what it was called, as it was already there when he moved in)

If anyone has the names of any promising cultivars, I'd love to hear about them.
