Slipper flower, Calceolaria genus

Is anyone growing this genus of flowering plant in southern florida? I really would love to have one of these, and I need to know if they would grow where I live. Any info would be much appreciated! Thank you!

They're a bit tender for cold weather. You will have to cover them if nights go below 50 degrees or so.
