Here I sit with some lily bulbs in a box on my desk

Temperatures were freezing last couple of nights... hopefully a temporary state of affairs. Still, pretty cold out and we'll have more below freezing weather before long.

So, tomorrow am going to pop them into some flower beds I have prepared, as I have heard they must be planted immediately or else.

Will they survive?? Should I hedge and put a few in pots and put under grow light until spring? (I can't help but think they will be stunted by that action...)

Any advice esp based on experience much appreciated!
