Square Foot Gardening

help finding a clematis

My daughter's birthday is mid February. She is an avid gardener and has tried for a long time to find a Swamp Clematis (Clematis Crispa L). Do any of you on this forum know where I might locate one? I have e mailed several nurseries in the South but as yet have had no luck. I know that this variety likes a lot of humidity, and heaven knows, we have plenty of that here in Oregon, along with mild winters here west of the Cascades. I would even settle for cuttings as my daughter is a master gardener and has had lots of success with propagating by means of cuttings. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check any local nursery in Oregon and send her a cutting? I know you can't help but trip over them in the PNW. Not sure what varieties I have in my yard. White flowers and purple hehe. Sorry, I'm a veggie guy. Good luck, I sure hope you find one for her. And welcome from Seattle.
