Hi - I'm new to this forum and fairly new to square foot gardening (or gardening at all for that matter). I was so excited last summer to have success with growing veggies in my square foot garden until the squirrels came along and destroyed it. They ate everything except the carrots.

I really want to have a successful garden, but I don't know how to keep the squirrels out. I'm contemplating building a cage around the entire thing. I've seen short cages, but I'd like to have some tall plants such as peas. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
